Early morning at 4 o'clock we drive you from Kathmandu to Nagarkot in our private vehicle.  The route takes you through the city east towards Bhaktapur. However, we keep on heading past Bhaktapur towards the north, finally reaching this hill station. Since decades, Nagarkot has attracted countless visitors very early in the morning to display Himalayan sunrise in full bloom. Moreover, the first golden streaks of light touch the mountain faces awakening it into full brilliance.

From Nagarkot View Tower  you will see 180 degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains such as, Numbur, Cho Oyu (8201 m), Gaurishankar (7134 m), Dorje Lakpa (6966 m), Shisha Pangma (8013 m), Langtang (7246 m), Ganesh Himal (7406 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Annapurna (8091 m) etc., stretching from east to west.

This tour lasts for 4 hours with a private transport service to and from Kathmandu. Naturally, an English speaking licensed guide, entrance fees, breakfast and mountain view are all included in the trip. September to May is the best season for sunrise and mountain views from Nagarkot.
