Trip Introduction: Baruntse Expedition takes us to Mt. Baruntse Peak (7,129m/ 23,390 ft ) at the heart of the Khumbu massif. It is just west of the 8,000 meters giant Makalu, and slightly east of Lhotse and Everest. Beause, it is surrounded by Himalayan giants, High Magazine's 'Mountain Info' claims Baruntse as "the most coveted 7,000m peak in Nepal". Baruntse is one of the most accessible 7000-meter peaks which has a high summit success rate as it features a relatively "easy" route which is safely guided by our Sherpas. As in all expeditions, our team of climbing Sherpas will provide expert guidance.
