1. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:
Cancellations of the trip must be in writing and acknowledged by the company. The company will determine applicable cancellation charges according to the date on the cancellation letter.
There are no cancellation fees for trip postponement.
The cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the total trip/itinerary price.
- Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: only 5%.
- Cancellation 21 days before departure: 10%.
- Cancellation less than 10 days before departure: 20%.
*Please note that refunds are not made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. Refunds are not made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services even though not utilized.
2. CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE COMPANY:
Himalayan Global Expedition reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, from departure due to reasons beyond its control (i.e. due to natural disasters, flight cancellation, consequences of strikes, industrial actions, wars, government interventions, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences. In such cases, the Himalayan Global Expedition will only refund the costs of services that not utilized. Services used by the clients are not entitled to refunds. Refunds may be in the form of an alternative trip of the same value and or for a postponed trip.
