Trip Facts
Trip Introduction:
Himalayan Global Peak (6,164m), is a newly opened climbing peak. This peak is relatively unknown, hence, Himalayan Global Expedition is proud to name it after our company. Located within the north-eastern part of Makalu-Barun National Park, it is a remote yet accessible peak with moderate challenges. We at Himalayan Global Expedition worked around the clock to chart out the route details and obtain permissions from the government.
Himalayan Global Peak: the newest adventure
Climbing this peak is an experience that is almost out of this world. The route itself takes us deep into rural outback Nepal, where trekkers and climbers seldom step foot. Hence, the entire villages along the route possess unspoiled beauty and authenticity. Throughout the entire trek, we camp out in the wild or sometimes in villages. This gives us the opportunity to interact with local villagers. This is a new peak climbing adventure, Himalayan Global Expedition is proud to package.
We travel to Tumlingtar, a remote airstrip perched above Arun Khola. Further on, we drive north towards Khandbari, the district administrative town of Sankhuwasabha and stay overnight in a lodge. We then drive further north to Num where we start our trek. Along the way, we traverse through forests as open pasturelands. Gazing towards the north, we see the famed mountains like Makalu, Chamlang and other peaks.
