Patan and Bhaktapur Tour takes you sightseeing around the ancient medieval cities of Patan and Bhaktapur. This is a private 5 hours tour from Kathmandu. You will explore the Newari architectural gems in Patan Durbar Square as well as a Tibetan handicraft centre. Then, you will continue your tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will see the major highlights. These include visits to the 55-Window Palace, Golden Gate, and Potter's Square. Your escorting guide will explain the history of Patan and Bhaktapur. As well as of the impact of the 2015 earthquake in Bhaktapur and the Kathmandu Valley.

Patan City, the World Heritage Site,   is 15 minutes drive from Kathmandu. It is the second-largest town in the valley. Patan’s central Durbar Square is full of ancient temples. It is an architectural centre point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than Kathmandu or Bhaktapur.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a conglomeration of pagoda and Shikhara style temples. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley.  The reason being, it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings perched on the top of stone monoliths and the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries all seem to come to life. As well as the wood carvings on every palace structure, lintels, uprights, tympanums, gateways, and windows, all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony of the by-gone era.
